The 'Route2Launch' program offers continuous mentorship aimed at testing the startup idea, developing a scalable business model, supporting the creation of an MVP (Minimum Viable Product), as well as providing workspace for collaborative efforts and the opportunity to connect with initial investors. "Route2Launch" is the first startup mentorship program at FOS designed for student teams looking to initiate the development of their startup ideas.
The 'Route2Launch' program offers continuous mentorship aimed at testing the startup idea, developing a scalable business model, supporting the creation of an MVP (Minimum Viable Product), as well as providing workspace for collaborative efforts and the opportunity to connect with initial investors. The "Route2Launch" program is part of the "Venture An Idea" project, a collaboration between FOS and the Digital Serbia Initiative, alongside other ecosystem partners, with support from USAID Serbia.

How does the program look

The program takes over 4 months, during which you'll work alongside mentors and visiting experts on developing your startup idea. The mentors include members of FOS who collaborate with startup ecosystem experts. The schedule for mentorship sessions will be arranged between mentors and student teams, taking into consideration exam commitments during the mentorship program.

Who can apply?

Applications are open to student teams from all fields of study, years, and academic levels, and teams have the option to include colleagues from other faculties (it's necessary for the team to have at least one member from FOS). 

At the end of the program, your team will have the opportunity to present its startup idea at the Pitching Session during the “Student Startups Week” in front of investors and representatives from organizations in the startup ecosystem.

Do I need to have an idea to apply for this program?
For this program, having an idea for a solution is necessary.
What's needed for the application and what does the selection process entail?

The selection process is conducted through one round, evaluating the following criteria:

  • Properly filled form
  • Clarity of the described idea
  • Idea potential
  • Composition and motivation of the team
  • Submitted presentation (.pdf up to 5 slides)
Does my idea need to align with a specific theme or technology?

There are no restrictions regarding the fields the idea belongs to or the technologies it might involve. You have complete freedom to create a solution for any problem you've targeted.

Can I apply with an idea that's already in an advanced stage?

Absolutely! If you already have a developed idea, mentors will work with your team through key idea validation segments and continue supporting further development.
